Why We Founded DLYog Lab
DLYog Lab Research Services LLC was founded with a mission to explore and apply cutting-edge AI technologies—especially generative AI and intelligent agents—for social good. The company was co-founded by a husband and wife team, with Mousumi Chawdhury as the primary founder. Their personal experience as parents of a special needs child has deeply influenced their commitment to creating inclusive, impactful solutions. They believe AI has the power to address many pressing societal challenges, from accessibility to education, and are passionate about using technology to make a meaningful difference.

Our Achievements and Intent
DLYog Lab Research Services LLC is a for-profit entity with a clear intent to build innovative solutions and monetize them through intellectual property and strategic partnerships. This distinction is important to separate our work from hobby or non-commercial classifications. We actively participate in hackathons, file patents, and license technologies developed through independent innovation.
We are proud winners of the TED AI 2024 SF Hackathon, where we showcased our AI4Echolalia™ app — “Empowering Speech Development with AI.” This patent-pending solution supports children with echolalia and aligns with the UN Sustainable Development Goals: Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being), Goal 4 (Quality Education), and Goal 10 (Reduced Inequalities).
We have also developed the IEP CoPilot app using LLAMA, which has been recognized by Meta for its potential in open-source AI advancements. While we do not work regularly due to various other professionla and personal responsibilities, we continue to explore growth opportunities and may onboard full-time inventors or founding members in the future. If you are interested in collaborating, please contact us at info@dlyog.com.
- We do not engage in academic or sponsored research through DLYog Lab.
- We conduct applied research using public AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, LLAMA, etc.) to develop practical solutions for real-world challenges.
- We may pursue patents on novel prototypes developed independently using DLYog Lab's Own resources.
- All hackathon or conference participation is carried out by founders in a personal capacity on behalf of DLYog Lab. The company assumes full responsibility and founders are not acting on behalf of any external employer.
Minor Participation Policy
- Founders’ children may take part in selected DLYog Lab activities only under direct parental supervision and with the prior written OK of the event organizer.

- Younger child with special needs: is present primarily for caregiving purposes and serves as personal inspiration; not involved in any formal duties or compensated work. Occasional public presence reflects family-led advocacy, not promotional labor.
- All minor involvement is incidental, caregiving‑related, and never tied to commercial labor or compensation. Minors receive no access to proprietary data or decision‑making, and their presence does not affect staffing, evaluation, or investment choices.
- We welcome contact from any concerned stakeholder and will prioritize employer interests in the case of any potential conflict.
Definition of Research
When we refer to "research," we mean the exploration and application of generative AI tools to build innovative solutions—not academic studies, funded projects, or scholarly research under any institution.
